Dr Thierry Bron - Abdominoplastie ou lifting du ventre

Stomach lift (Abdominoplasty)

An abdominoplasty is the most comprehensive intervention on the stomach. It tautens the skin when it is too distended for a simple liposuction.
A mini-abdominoplasty tautens the abdomen. It is recommended in cases of excess skin beneath the belly button and can be combined with liposuction.

Crisalix is 3D simulation software that shows the results of aesthetic surgery. This tool helps patients better express their request and enables surgeons to give clear, reasoned explanations. Patients are therefore better informed when they decide to have an operation.

  • Can you lose weight by undergoing an abdominoplasty?
Weight loss during the operation is 1-3 kg. You will lose weight by a healthy lifestyle.
  • Can an abdominoplasty remove stretch marks?
This intervention tautens the skin, which smooths out stretch marks. Stretch marks beneath the belly button disappear as the skin is tautened. Stretch marks above the belly button will be moved further down, just above the scar.
  • How long does it take to obtain a definitive result?
An abdominoplasty gives immediate results. The definitive result is obtained after 3 months, once the oedema has completely disappeared.
