Dr Thierry Bron - Otoplastie ou chirurgie des oreilles décollées

Otoplasty (Protruding ear surgery)

This is an intervention to pin back one or both ears. Although it is covered by health insurance if carried out on children from the age of 7, this is not the case for adults.

Crisalix is 3D simulation software that shows the results of aesthetic surgery. This tool helps patients better express their request and enables surgeons to give clear, reasoned explanations. Patients are therefore better informed when they decide to have an operation.

  • Where are the scars located?
The scars are behind the ears and are completely invisible.
  • Is this intervention a risk to your hearing?
This intervention presents no risk to your hearing since the surgeon only intervenes on the outer ear.
